Our client in the non-profit sector is seeking a Manager, Development Operations to lead the systems, processes, and data that power their fundraising efforts. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the organization’s development programs run smoothly, with reliable data, efficient processes, and accurate reporting that support meaningful community impact.
Working closely with fundraising, finance, and leadership teams, you will be at the center of how donor information and insights drive strategy and engagement. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead the strategy and day-to-day management of the fundraising CRM, ensuring data accuracy, security, and consistency across systems.
- In this role, you’ll oversee gift processing and donor acknowledgements, ensuring all contributions are recorded accurately and receipted in compliance with CRA requirements.
- You’ll develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that provide insights into fundraising performance and campaign effectiveness.
- You’ll evaluate and improve operational workflows, implementing systems and processes that enhance efficiency and strengthen the donor experience.
- You’ll collaborate with finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure systems integrations, data security, and reliable technology infrastructure.
- You’ll lead and mentor staff responsible for data entry, gift processing, and reporting, providing guidance, training, and day-to-day leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience within a development or fundraising environment, including operational or database management responsibilities.
- 3+ years of experience leading or supervising staff in an operations or data-focused role.
- Advanced experience with Raiser’s Edge, including system configuration, reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of CRA charitable receipting requirements, CASL, and privacy legislation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
