About the Opportunity
Our client, a well established organization in the retail and automotive services sector, is seeking a Consultant, Shop Capacity and Equipment to support a large network of automotive service locations across Canada. In this role, you will work directly with store operators to help them improve shop productivity, evaluate equipment needs, and implement operational improvements that enhance service efficiency and safety.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and store leadership to provide guidance on equipment planning, operational best practices, and performance improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and developing tools and resources that help service teams perform at their best.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll respond to dealer inquiries related to service equipment, operational challenges, and shop productivity.
You’ll collaborate with vendors and internal teams to coordinate equipment orders, shipments, and billing.
You’ll help develop and maintain recommended equipment lists and resources that support automotive service centres.
You’ll consult with dealers to recommend equipment solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and return on investment.
You’ll create guides, tools, and communication materials that help stores maintain and maximize the value of their equipment.
You’ll contribute to reporting and analysis that monitors equipment usage and operational performance across service centres.
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of experience in automotive operations, retail operations, equipment support, or a similar operational environment.
Strong Excel skills required, including the ability to build tools, analyze operational data, and support reporting.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors, store operators, and internal teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing presentations, guides, or operational documentation.
Ability to manage multiple requests and projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
College diploma or university degree preferred. Automotive service knowledge or dealership experience is considered an asset.
