About the Opportunity
Our client in the public sector is seeking an experienced Contract Coordinator to support the delivery of structured, compliant contracting processes. This role plays an important part in ensuring procurement activities are organized, well documented, and aligned with established policies and procedures.
Working closely with internal teams, you will help manage the preparation and administration of service-based procurement initiatives. From drafting requests for proposals to supporting contract awards, you will contribute to a collaborative environment where attention to detail and process integrity help ensure projects move forward efficiently.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll support the preparation, issuance, and administration of procurement documents, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
- In this role, you’ll assist with evaluating submissions and supporting the preparation and awarding of service contracts.
- You’ll apply established procurement and contracting policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the contracting lifecycle.
- You’ll organize and synthesize procurement documentation, helping create clear reference tools and records for internal teams.
- You’ll maintain accurate contract files and documentation while identifying missing or incomplete information and escalating as needed.
- You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to support contract management activities and ensure procurement processes remain organized and transparent.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting procurement or contracting processes, particularly related to service contracts.
- Experience preparing and issuing RFQs and RFPs, and supporting contract award and administration activities.
- Strong understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Clear and professional written communication skills suitable for formal contractual documentation.
- Knowledge of accessibility considerations within a contracting or procurement context is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with standard office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint or similar document repositories.
