About the Opportunity
Our client, an international non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to lead financial operations and coordinate core administrative functions within a collaborative and globally connected environment. This is a senior leadership role that plays a central part in ensuring financial integrity, operational coordination, and strategic planning across the organization.
Working closely with the Executive Secretary and senior leadership, you will oversee finance, reporting, payroll, and budgeting while also coordinating administrative areas such as HR, communications, and office management. This role offers the opportunity to work with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse cultures and international backgrounds, contributing to initiatives that support a global network of partners and members.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll oversee all finance and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, and reconciliations.
- In this role, you’ll present financial reports and analysis to senior leadership, board members, and finance committees.
- You’ll coordinate administrative functions across HR, communications, and office management to ensure smooth organizational operations.
- You’ll ensure compliance with financial policies, GAAP standards, and donor funding agreements.
- You’ll contribute to strategic planning, budget development, and financial analysis to support key organizational initiatives.
- You’ll lead and support a small finance team while fostering a collaborative and organized work environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Experience in not-for-profit, association, or member-based organizations preferred
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance expertise
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior stakeholders and board members
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
