Our client, a national membership-based professional organization, is seeking an Events Coordinator to support the delivery of impactful conferences, educational events, and member engagement initiatives across Canada. This role sits within a collaborative Events Management team that plays a key role in attracting, retaining, and engaging members through high-quality event experiences.

Your Responsibilities
- You will coordinate end-to-end event logistics, including venue sourcing, speaker coordination, registration management, and onsite event execution.
- In this role, you will support speaker logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodations, ground transportation, and onboarding.
- You will oversee event registration platforms, monitor attendee flow, and ensure a seamless guest experience during events.
- You will track event-related expenses, coordinate invoice processing, and monitor budgets to ensure events remain within approved financial parameters.
- You will collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, sponsors, and suppliers to ensure successful event delivery and strong stakeholder relationships.
- You will maintain accurate records including contracts, agendas, communications, and event documentation, while contributing to post-event evaluations and improvement recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination or event administration, ideally supporting conferences or professional events
- Bilingual communication skills, English and French spoken, with the ability to interact with members and volunteers in both languages
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience coordinating in-person events, logistics, and vendor relationships
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and CRM or event management platforms
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to changing event requirements
