Job Posting: Senior Base Barrack Warden, Oromocto, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire a responsible team member for a Senior Base Barrack Warden role at 5 CDSB Gagetown in Oromocto, New Brunswick.

Location: Oromocto, NB

Hours: Monday to Friday- 8am- 4pm

Rate of Pay: $21.01 per hour

The Role: The Senior Base Barrack Warden is responsible for supporting all Base Barrack Wardens and assisting them in keeping all base accommodation buildings organized and running smoothly at 5 CDSB Gagetown.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Embrace a culture of inclusivity in addition to a variety of Security Officer duties

· Report all incidents, reports, situations and assist Accommodations 2IC with daily activities

· Coordinate all parties tasked to assist with DND Quarters requirements

· Act as the Senior Fire Warden ensuring that monthly Fire Inspections and reports are completed. Action all deficiencies indicated in inspections as well as any maintenance requirements, and pest control issues

· Assist Accommodations 2IC with requested welfare checks

· Ensure that all new Barrack Wardens have complete One the Job Training

· Help Barrack Wardens with laundry, march in/ march out procedures and when they are over tasked

· All additional tasks as outlined in the Post Orders


QUALIFICATIONS:

· Approachable with strong customer service and organizational skills

· Detail orientated with excellent communication skills and proven leadership abilities

· Barrack Warden experience and military rank knowledge are both assets

· Must have or be able to obtain Government of Canada Level II Security Clearance



Designated Veteran Status and Bilingual (French/English) and are both assets but not requirements.
