About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established retail organization, is investing in owned brand acceleration and building a faster, more agile product pipeline. This newly created Product Developer role is designed to close the gap between trend identification and in-market execution, reducing development timelines from traditional 18 to 24 months down to 12 months.
You will collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, and offshore vendor partners to bring fashion-forward concepts to life. This is a highly cross-functional and entrepreneurial role where your fashion lens, technical expertise, and proactive mindset will directly influence product success and brand growth.

Your Responsibilities
You will lead end-to-end product development across a focused portfolio, from concept through production and delivery.
You will translate design intent into detailed tech packs and BOMs, ensuring accuracy and alignment across stakeholders.
You will manage development calendars and sample tracking, proactively identifying risks and accelerating timelines where possible.
You will collaborate with vendors and sourcing teams to negotiate costs and achieve IMU targets while maintaining quality standards.
You will research trends, fabrics, and construction innovations to inform product strategy and close assortment gaps.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in apparel product development within retail or brand-led organizations.
Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production processes.
Blend of design and development exposure, with strong fashion intuition and merchandising awareness.
Experience working with PLM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate confidently in ambiguity.
Detail-oriented with strong presentation and communication skills.
