About the Opportunity
We are seeking a QA Automation Lead to join a growing Test Centre of Excellence (TCoE) on the operations side of a large enterprise technology environment. In this role, you will lead governance, planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives that shape quality standards across multiple projects and teams.
You will play a key role in strengthening an established automation practice, bringing strong experience with modern automation tools and helping elevate the capabilities of the current testing team. Working within an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with IT partners, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure testing practices are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

Your Responsibilities
- You will lead governance activities within the Test Centre of Excellence, including reporting on automation metrics, managing dashboards, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to PMO and TCoE standards.
- You will drive end-to-end test planning and execution across all SDLC phases, including strategy development, risk assessment, environment coordination, defect management, and stakeholder communication.
- You will lead and mentor a small team of QA specialists (3–4 testers), providing guidance on automation best practices, improving team processes, and supporting professional development.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment, ensuring automation frameworks and testing practices support fast, reliable releases.
- You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks, with a strong focus on Selenium and Tosca, ensuring automation scripts align with established standards and frameworks.
- You will champion continuous improvement initiatives, helping mature the automation strategy and elevate the testing capability of the broader team.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading QA or automation testing teams within large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Tosca
- Experience working within Agile software delivery environments
- Proven experience mentoring or leading QA teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience developing or improving automation frameworks, standards, and testing practices
- Hands-on experience preparing test data, executing automated test cases, and reporting execution results to stakeholders
- Strong understanding of test automation strategy, CI/CD integration, and modern QA best practices
- Experience using defect tracking tools such as HP ALM or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
