The Strategic Implementation Branch plans and delivers diverse strategic initiatives and mandate-driven projects for the Finance, Governance and Capital Policy Sector. The Branch leads work on emergent priorities, alternative project delivery approaches, and new mandate initiatives, ensuring alignment with sector, Ministry, and Government of Alberta project management frameworks.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator provides critical coordination and analytical support for strategic initiatives and mandate-related projects within the Branch. This role links projects to established government project planning, operational, and management frameworks, supports effective information management, and contributes to research, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
The Project Coordinator works in a dynamic, evolving environment where projects are often novel and require adaptability, strong organization, and sound judgment.

University graduation in a related field plus 2 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent as described below.
