You will join a collaborative Intake team, working closely with committee members and leadership to draft clear, defensible decisions related to professional conduct and registration matters. Your work will be both analytical and meaningful, ensuring that complex information is translated into thoughtful, well-reasoned written outcomes that can withstand scrutiny.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll draft clear, concise decisions and reasons on behalf of statutory committees, incorporating relevant legislation, case law, and professional standards.
- In this role, you’ll review detailed case materials, identify key issues or patterns, and prepare thoroughly for committee discussions.
- You’ll attend virtual and occasional in-person committee meetings, capturing detailed notes and translating deliberations into defensible written decisions.
- You’ll collaborate with internal teams to clarify information and support registration-related applications.
- You’ll present insights to the team and prepare supporting materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of legal writing experience within an administrative tribunal or regulatory environment.
- Post-secondary education in law, public administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of legislative language and ability to apply legal tests and procedural fairness principles.
- Exceptional written communication skills with keen attention to tone, clarity, and detail.
- Proven ability to remain calm under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
