Agilus is recruiting for a Leasing Administrator/Assistant in the real estate/property management industry in Hamilton, Ontario. What's in it for you: $60000.00 - $65000.00 annually 2-3 weeks of paid vacation Comprehensive Benefits Plan RSP/Pension: 3% matching after 1 year of employment Available parking onsite A day in the life: Provide administrative support to the Leasing Manager Preparation of all commercial and retail Proposal letters and other documentation, including any general leasing related correspondence and tenant file set up, with minimal direction. Participate in the development and maintenance of lease precedents; Assembling and updating of monthly vacancy listings, various leasing reports and company website; Assembling and distributing broker marketing packages, along with vacant space plans, processing broker commission invoices and fielding broker/tenant enquiries; Input of leasing information into company’s database system (Yardi) and ensuring related information, such as floor plates, stacking plans and rent rolls, all coincide; Provide leasing information/updates to associated staff members within the company, including instructions to the team in the Toronto office for preparation of legal documentation, as required; Successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day activity within the Leasing Department and able to provide a high level of customer service to tenants, contractors and brokers You bring: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial property management or office/retail space Proven experience managing a portfolio of properties. Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated experience handling vendor, tenant, or contract negotiations. Experience preparing and reviewing documentation, including leasing agreements and related property management documents. Strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager or Deal Manager is nice to have Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, Access) Strong written, oral, communication and organization skills with proven attention to detail Post-Secondary education an asset This posting is for an active opening.
