Our client is actively looking for an experienced oil and gas Buyer to join their procurement team for a 12-month contract starting in April. The perfect person for this role has 15 years of experience working on projects in the oil and gas space. A typical day: Prepare RFQs and RFPs according to project schedules and company supply management policies. Coordinate closely with the Project Team and lead all commercial negotiations for assigned procurement packages. Develop commercial recommendations by analyzing package information and managing the full procurement process from initiation to award. Provide post-award contract administration, including progress meetings, expediting, change order oversight, and maintaining tracking logs.
