We are currently seeking Arrest Processing Officers to support the Calgary Police Service (CPS) Arrest Processing Section (APS). This is a unique and respected position that plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and operational efficiency of CPS facilities.

About the Role
As an APO, you will be a key member of the APS team, supporting CPS officers in delivering safe, efficient, and organized arrest-processing operations. You will work in a structured, fast-paced environment where professionalism, focus, and sound judgment are essential.

What You Bring
- High school diploma or Alberta GED equivalent
- Experience in a police or security environment is an asset
- Strong observation and monitoring skills (CCTV experience an asset)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Professional, calm, and reliable under pressure
- Proficient with computers and report writing
Physical Requirements
- Able to perform foot patrols and maintain focus for extended periods
- Lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working in a high-alert, dynamic environment
Working Conditions
- 12-hour rotating shifts (06:00–18:00 / 18:00–06:00)
- Mentally and physically demanding environment
- Exposure to challenging conditions while supporting detainee management
