About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading Canadian retail organization with a strong national footprint, is seeking a Purchase Coordinator to support their merchandising team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to category strategy and help deliver products that resonate with customers across the country.
Working closely with a Buyer and cross functional partners across planning, marketing, allocation, logistics, and store operations, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless execution of the merchandising strategy. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will directly impact financial performance and the overall customer experience.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll support the Buyer in daily category operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution of merchandising activities
• You’ll manage seasonal style creation, vendor setup, master data updates, and purchase order processing while tracking on time delivery
• You’ll execute marketing activities by creating price events, supporting ad proofing, and maintaining promotional trackers
• You’ll monitor the online assortment and content to ensure a best in class digital experience
• You’ll coordinate sample procurement and distribution, maintaining organization and timely submissions to marketing
• You’ll build strong relationships with vendors and cross functional partners through proactive communication and follow up
• You’ll analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal performance using retail math to support business insights
Skills and Qualifications
• 1 to 2 years of apparel retail store experience, ideally within a fast paced environment
• Basic understanding of retail math and business performance metrics
• Strong proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and strong attention to detail
