About the Opportunity
Our client, a mission-driven research organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Event Coordinator to support the delivery of high-impact virtual and in-person events across Canada. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a digital environment and enjoys bringing people together through thoughtfully executed experiences.
You will collaborate closely with the Convening Manager, Associate Director, and cross-functional teams to create seamless events that engage stakeholders, speakers, and partners. Your work will directly contribute to meaningful conversations and knowledge sharing within a professional, purpose-led community.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll support the planning and execution of primarily virtual events, along with select in-person gatherings.
You’ll coordinate end-to-end event logistics including registration, speaker support, venue arrangements, and financial tracking.
In this role, you’ll manage webinars and live sessions using Microsoft Teams and ON24, providing technical setup and real-time troubleshooting.
You’ll liaise with external vendors and venues to confirm contracts and event details.
You’ll maintain digital assets, track event metrics, and support continuous process improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
2 to 3 years of professional event coordination experience or post-secondary education in a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Experience using virtual event platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or ON24.
Proficiency with MS Office and comfort working in a fully remote environment with reliable internet access.
