Global Sourcing Manager/Commodity Buyer role open in London! Agilus is recruiting for a Commodity Buyer in the industrial space in London,, Ontario. In this role you will collaborate with budget owners across the business to drive sourcing strategies spanning immediate needs and long-range planning, including major strategic initiatives, contract oversight, supplier negotiations, and relationship stewardship. In this global role, you will influence enterprise-wide supply chain direction, elevate cost and performance outcomes, and lead the sourcing strategy for the company's metals category. What's in it for you: $50.00 - $55.00 hourly Hybrid work model in London, Ontario Monday to Friday, regular office hours 12 - 16 month contract Responsibilities: Manage and optimize supplier performance by building strong partnerships, negotiating contracts, tracking spend, and ensuring suppliers meet quality, cost, delivery, and service expectations. Drive operational excellence by transitioning suppliers, maintaining uninterrupted supply, using digital procurement tools, and leading continuous improvement efforts. Apply market insights by monitoring global trends and using data to strengthen and adjust sourcing strategies. Requirements: 7+ years of working experience as a Global Sourcing Manager or Commodity Buyer Experience working in metal procurement as a category specialist Ability to work cross functionally at a high level 5+ years of global sourcing experience in North America and Asia 3+ years of experience using MRP or ERP systems This posting is for an active opening.
