Senior Accountant needed in SE Calgary! Permanent opportunity, long term growth, $80K+ salary! Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Accountant (tax) in the finance sector in Calgary, Alberta. We are seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA) with strong experience in both tax and audit—ideally from a mid sized public practice environment. In this role, you will manage engagements from planning through completion while supporting a collaborative team of partners, managers, and accounting professionals. What's in it for you: $80000.00 - $100000.00 annually Location: SE Calgary Flexible core hours, Monday–Friday; typically 4 days in office with Fridays from home. Responsibilities: Prepare a full range of personal and corporate tax filings (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, GST, etc.). Complete review and audit engagements under ASPE and ASNPO. Compile financial statements in accordance with CSRS 4200. Liaise with the CRA and provide clients with timely, accurate guidance. Build strong client relationships and respond to inquiries with professionalism and care. Requirements: CPA designation (or equivalent) with Canadian public practice experience. 3+ years of hands on experience in tax compliance, compilations, reviews, and audits. Strong understanding of ASPE and ASNPO standards. Proficiency with CaseWare, TaxCycle, Sage, and QuickBooks. Detail oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high quality client service.
