Your Responsibilities
• You’ll build, maintain, and operate a production OpenShift platform on prem, overseeing cluster lifecycle, operators, and platform stability.
• You’ll lead controlled configuration changes across ingress, routing, TLS policies, and service mesh to support secure, observable service-to-service communication.
• You’ll manage Docker image creation, golden image standards, container registry integrations, and secure runtime enforcement.
• You’ll operate and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated container builds and OpenShift deployments using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• You’ll maintain observability dashboards, tune alerts, support incident response, and uphold SLA and SLO commitments through disciplined change management practices.
Skills and Qualifications
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and container lifecycle management.
• Automation-first mindset with experience in Ansible, Bash, Python, and GitOps workflows.
• Experience managing RHEL environments, database platforms such as PostgreSQL, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of ITIL-based change management, incident response, and rollback engineering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
