About the Opportunity
Our client, a nationally recognized organization operating within a complex, technology-driven environment, is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support a modern, cloud-based enterprise data platform initiative. This role contributes to a large-scale data transformation program focused on improving enterprise integration, analytics, and decision support capabilities.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and BI professionals to design and deliver scalable reporting solutions within Microsoft Azure and Fabric environments. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise analytics standards while contributing to impactful, high-visibility initiatives.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models aligned to business requirements.
In this role, you’ll build and optimize data models integrating multiple enterprise data sources using DAX, star schema design, and performance tuning techniques.
You’ll develop and manage data refresh strategies, including gateway configuration and scheduled refresh processes.
You’ll support requirements analysis, testing activities, and User Acceptance Testing cycles.
You’ll implement and maintain Microsoft Fabric governance controls, including workspace architecture, RBAC, RLS, and lifecycle management.
You’ll create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development artifacts to support operational sustainability.
You’ll provide mentorship and promote BI standards across the team.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience designing and implementing Power BI dashboards and advanced data models using DAX.
5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure data platforms including Databricks, SQL Databases, and Data Lake.
Strong SQL expertise, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data optimization.
Experience building batch and stream data processing pipelines.
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise BI governance and Microsoft Fabric environments is considered an asset.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
