About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading multi-location retail organization, is seeking a Learning Consultant, Bilingual Trainer to design and deliver high-impact learning experiences that support store operations across Canada. Based in Calgary and working primarily on-site, this role plays a key part in strengthening capability, consistency, and performance across teams.
You will own your learning portfolio from needs analysis through delivery and evaluation. Partnering closely with store leaders and subject matter experts, you will translate operational realities into practical, engaging training, delivered confidently in both English and French.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll design and develop bilingual learning solutions end to end, including eLearning modules, presentations, facilitator guides, and job aids in English and French.
You’ll build interactive eLearning using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, ensuring clarity, engagement, and accessibility in both languages.
You’ll deliver dynamic training sessions in English and Quebecois French across in-person, virtual, and blended environments.
You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts to convert retail operations and processes into practical, learner-centered training.
You’ll review and adapt bilingual content to ensure linguistic accuracy, tone, and consistency specific to Quebecois French.
You’ll analyze learner feedback and performance data to continuously enhance course design and delivery effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of progressive experience delivering and facilitating training in both English and French.
Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in Quebecois French is required.
Demonstrated experience creating facilitator guides, job aids, presentations, and storyboards.
Experience supporting blended learning environments and evaluating training effectiveness.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Experience in retail, service, or multi-location environments is considered an asset.
