Agilus is recruiting for a Business Development Manager (Industrial Coatings) in the Industrial Fluid Handling Industry in Mississauga, Ontario. Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth of its Finishing Products portfolio across Southwestern Ontario. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding key and target accounts, and delivering consultative, value-based solutions to industrial manufacturers. The successful candidate will manage a long sales cycle, uncover opportunities through strategic prospecting, and work closely with internal teams and suppliers to deliver technically sound solutions. This is a hunter-focused role covering a large geographic territory. Total rewards: $90000.00 - $115000.00 annually Mileage and business travel reimbursement Ongoing product and sales training Performance based bonus. Competitive base salary Comprehensive health & dental benefits Pension Plan Paid vacation and statutory holidays A typical day: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities Develop and execute strategic plans for key and target accounts Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers. Prospect, qualify, and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Follow up on high-value quotations and close opportunities. Conduct site visits and equipment assessments. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on solutions. Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking. Successful candidates will have: Post-secondary education in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. 5+ years of B2B industrial sales or business development experience. Strong hunter mentality with proven new-business success. Experience selling finishing products (liquid, powder, booths, sealants, adhesives preferred). Value-based, consultative selling experience. Comfortable managing long sales cycles. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office This posting is for an active opening.
