About the Opportunity
Altis Recruitment partners with respected public sector and broader public sector organizations to identify experienced Senior Executive Assistants for upcoming contract and permanent opportunities. As a Senior Executive Assistant, you are more than administrative support. You are a trusted partner who understands executive priorities, protects time, and ensures strategic initiatives move forward. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, directors, board members, and external stakeholders, playing a key role in maintaining structure, confidentiality, and operational flow across high-impact portfolios.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll manage complex executive calendars, ensuring priorities are aligned and realistic within fast-moving schedules.
In this role, you’ll coordinate board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, materials distribution, and minute-taking.
You’ll oversee domestic and international travel arrangements, managing logistics and expense processes.
You’ll act as a liaison between senior leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
You’ll prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and confidential correspondence.
You’ll anticipate challenges, exercise judgment on behalf of leadership, and proactively resolve scheduling or operational conflicts.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of Executive Assistant experience, including 3+ years supporting C-suite or VP-level leaders within large or regulated organizations.
Demonstrated experience supporting governance structures such as boards, committees, or executive leadership teams.
Advanced calendar and travel management skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Proven discretion handling confidential and sensitive information.
Strong written communication skills, including preparation of executive materials and minutes.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration platforms.
