About the Opportunity
Our client, a regulatory body responsible for professional credentialing, is seeking a Credentialing Assistant to support the integrity and accuracy of its high-stakes credentialing process. This role is vital to ensuring candidate qualifications are reviewed and processed with precision, care, and confidentiality.
Working closely with the Credentialing Team Lead and Document Acknowledgement Specialist, you will be part of a collaborative team that safeguards professional standards across Canada. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly contribute to fair, secure, and timely certification decisions that impact professionals and the public alike.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll process and file document evaluation applications, ensuring accuracy in both physical and digital records.
- You’ll coordinate outstanding application requirements by corresponding with candidates and external organizations.
- In this role, you’ll perform quality control checks to maintain the integrity and security of credentialing documentation.
- You’ll run and clear assigned reports within the certification portal and support document acknowledgement activities as needed.
- You’ll assist with training team members on document coordination processes and help maintain organized records, including purging outdated materials.
Skills and Qualifications
- Over 2 years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in a regulatory, education, or credentialing environment
- College or university diploma or degree is a must
- Experience in document control, records management, filing and scanning in a structured administrative environment
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to correspond with diverse stakeholders
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic file management systems
