Job Posting: Casual Overnight/Weekend Security Officer, Fredericton, NB
Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking
to hire mature and responsible team members, in Fredericton, for casual overnight
and weekend security work.
Hours: 8 to 12
hour shifts as needed
The Role: The
Casual Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and
regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on
the site.
We are seeking candidates with:
·
Physical fitness to perform rounds, including multiple
sets of stairs, in all types of environmental conditions - may also require
sitting for extended periods of time
·
A positive, proactive, problem-solving
approach to tasks
·
Customer service experience
·
Valid class 5 Driver’s License
·
Reliable transportation
The successful candidate must be able to:
·
Maintain high levels of confidentiality
·
Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing
conflict situations
·
Respond to emergency situations and help
others
·
Clean Criminal Record and the ability to obtain required security clearances
·
Work vacant shifts
sometimes on short notice
Designated Veteran Status is an asset
but not a requirement.
