We are currently seeking District Guards to support operations
within the Calgary Police Service (CPS) District Offices. This
respected, high-responsibility role is essential in ensuring the safety,
security, and operational continuity of CPS facilities.

About the Role
As a District Guard, you are a key frontline representative of
Commissionaires. You will work closely with CPS staff to maintain safe,
secure, and efficient operations, while supporting law enforcement in a
professional and collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured environments,
demonstrate strong attention to detail, and are committed to public safety.

What You Bring
- High school
diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alberta
Security License and First Aid certification
- Valid Driver’s
License; PAL (Possession Acquisition License)
- Strong
communication skills and professional, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work
independently with sound judgment and situational awareness
- Intermediate
computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency)
Physical Requirements
- Conduct
interior and exterior foot patrols in all weather conditions
- Climb stairs,
lift up to 30 lbs., and maintain focus on security systems
- Stand or sit
for extended periods as required
- Respond
promptly to radio and telephone communications
Working Conditions
- 4-on / 4-off
schedule, 12-hour day & night shifts (06:00–18:00 / 18:00–06:00)
