Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Estimator in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta. This person will work on all Development & Manage Projects (D&MP) stage (AACEI Class 1 to 5) estimates. Estimators understand high level / quantity based estimate process, can assist in development of all components of estimate (direct, indirect, engineering, project management, completions & commissioning, escalation and contingency). Total rewards: $70.00 - $100.00 hourly Pay rates - $70/hr to $80/hr for T4 and $80/hr to $100/hr for IC 1 year contract Mon to Fri 40 hours per week , all days in office Calgary downtown office and may require travelling to sites A typical day: Support development of all types of estimates for individual D&MP stage under supervision Analyze / compare various components and metrics with internal / external benchmarks Support end-to-end estimating process. Assist in development of estimate and benchmarking preparation plan to estimate basis, presentations Assist in developing benchmarking bundles for various D&MP stages Attend all corporate required training courses as deem necessary for the position Successful candidates will have: 10+ years of experience in preparing cost estimates for industrial projects Estimator requirement would be specifically for Mine/Tailings/Water projects and heavy Civil experience would be an asset Awareness of Aspen-tech (k-Base) estimating software will be an asset Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI) Technical diploma or University degree This posting is for an active opening.
