Agilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Planner in the Oil and Gas Sector in Vancouver, British Columbia.
This position will plan multi-disciplinary field execution of contract trades employed in the repair, adjustment, modification, removal and/or installation of plant equipment within Burrard Terminal, focusing on reducing unplanned backlog and building up a planned backlog.

$70.00 - $80.00 hourly

Primary Work Location: Burrard Terminal
Shift Schedule: 40hrs/week (M-F) , 8 hr days
Travel may be required and reimbursed
A typical day:
Manage an effective short- and long-range maintenance plan, modify the plan for variations due to availability of resources, actual work completed or additional work requirements
Ensure compliance to all relevant policies and standards - including the Management of Change (MOC) process, MG&S, maintenance business processes (M&R Standard), and OEMs Manage Mtce
Develop detailed job plans for each task (labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits)/identify long lead items, and maximize resource productivity with the planned cost ready for scheduling
Define safe work procedures and special safety considerations
Identify isolation points, lockout/tagout needs, and verify readiness with Operations
Collaborate with the CFT OMC, Mtce Coord, Reliability Eng, Plant Eng, and Terminal Team Leads as required
Secondary role may be asked to support field coordination/Scheuler
Successful candidates will have:
Typically 5–12+ years of relevant maintenance planning, scheduling, or reliability experience in the oil & gas, mining, or heavy industrial sectors
Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles, including RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and PM programs
Proficiency with CMMS systems such as SAP S4 Hana, Maximo, Prometheus EAM, or similar platforms.
