About the Opportunity

As our Senior Manager, Employer Relationships, you will lead a team of Employer Liaisons to strengthen and expand relationships with employers, helping them access the talent they need while increasing the organization's presence in the business community. In this role, you’ll work closely with HR professionals, hiring managers, and community partners to grow the employer network and create meaningful employment opportunities for job seekers. You’ll also partner with senior leadership to shape strategy, improve operations, and champion service excellence and compliance. Your leadership will directly influence outcomes across multiple sites and sectors, while positioning the organization as a trusted partner in workforce solutions.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll secure and manage key employer relationships across the GTA, growing their network through proactive outreach and engagement.
You’ll lead and manage the Employer Liaison and Liaison Coordinator teams, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development.
You’ll oversee budgets, employer incentive programs, and performance metrics to achieve program outcomes while ensuring compliance.
You’ll collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, business planning, and operational improvements.
You’ll represent the organization at networking events, employer meetings, and community activities across Peel, York, and Toronto regions.
You’ll champion diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in employer engagement practices.
Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in sales, recruitment, and business development, including securing and managing employer relationships.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Sales, or related field.
Proven leadership experience with strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Strong understanding of Ontario’s labour market and business recruitment needs.
Experience managing budgets and financial reporting; strong Excel skills.
Familiarity with CRMs, preferably Salesforce.
Ability to travel across the GTA, work flexible hours, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
