As a Claims Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals through a structured and time-sensitive claims process, where accuracy, empathy, and discretion truly matter.
You will work closely with a collaborative advisory team, reporting to senior leadership while also managing your own responsibilities independently. This role blends technical precision with human connection, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact while supporting claimants who may be navigating complex or sensitive circumstances.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll respond to incoming calls with empathy, professionalism, and strict confidentiality.
In this role, you’ll guide claimants through the claims process while adhering to established scripts and protocols.
You’ll triage, assign, and resolve inquiries through ticketing systems, escalating sensitive cases as needed.
You’ll accurately code claim details and complete quality checks to ensure compliance and completeness.
You’ll maintain detailed, objective documentation to support audit and reporting requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
1+ year of experience in client-facing, patient-facing, or stakeholder support roles
Proven comfort handling sensitive conversations with emotional intelligence and professionalism
Bilingual fluency in English and French, written and spoken
Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with VOIP or internet-based phone systems is an asset
Knowledge of Indigenous cultures or languages is considered an asset
