About the Opportunity
As a Program Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of programs and projects delivered across Canada. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, including colleges, institutes, government representatives, and industry stakeholders, ensuring initiatives meet strategic objectives, funding requirements, and deliver meaningful outcomes for communities and member institutions.
This role offers the chance to contribute to projects that have real impact in the education and nonprofit sectors. You will be part of a small, collaborative team, where your problem-solving skills and ability to communicate clearly will directly support program success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll ensure project deliverables are aligned with funding agreements and organizational priorities.
- In this role, you’ll liaise with colleges to gather feedback, track progress, and ensure payments are processed accurately.
- You’ll contribute to dissemination projects, knowledge sharing, and outreach initiatives.
- You’ll collaborate closely within a team of three, supporting program planning and execution.
- You’ll communicate effectively with college representatives and some students in French via email, ensuring timely responses.
- You’ll provide quick turnaround on tasks while maintaining high-quality outputs.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in government, nonprofit, or education sectors.
- Background in Business Administration, Project Management, or Social Sciences.
- Experience coordinating events, workshops, or consultations with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with tracking expenditures, financial claims, and project funding compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (MS Teams, Zoom); familiarity with CRM systems or Power BI is an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
