HR Generalist / HR Manager (Standalone Role) Open! Agilus is recruiting for a HR Generalist in the Insolvency Sector in North York, ON, Ontario. Are you a seasoned HR professional who thrives on ownership and autonomy? This is a rare opportunity to step into a standalone HR role where your expertise truly matters. Our client is seeking a confident, hands-on HR Generalist / HR Manager to build, manage, and own the full HR function for a stable, established organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to HR partner, shaping programs, supporting leadership, and driving a positive employee experience — all in a fully onsite environment with close collaboration across the business. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Utilize HR systems and technology to streamline processes Successful candidates will have: 5+ years of HR experience in a Generalist or HR Manager role Experience working independently or in a standalone HR position Minimum 3 years in your most recent role Strong hands-on experience with recruitment, payroll, and benefits Solid knowledge of Ontario employment laws and employee relations Comfortable using HR systems, payroll software, and MS Office CHRL designation or progress toward it is an asset Professional judgment, discretion, and strong communication skills This posting is for an active opening.
