About the Opportunity
This is a hands-on opportunity to support a high-profile national defence initiative that brings together senior leaders, experts, and partners from across Canada and beyond. As a Project Administrator, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of a large-scale symposium that supports operational readiness and collaboration within the defence community.
You will work closely with a small, dedicated project team in a structured public sector environment. Your contributions will directly support event coordination, communications, and documentation, helping ensure that complex activities run smoothly and deadlines are met in a secure, on-site setting.

Your Responsibilities
You will support in-person and virtual event registration, ensuring accurate records and smooth participant experiences.
In this role, you will assist with preparing badges, invitations, and thank-you correspondence tied to event timelines.
You will maintain and update project documentation, files, and administrative records.
You will draft emails and written communications that support decision-making and event coordination.
You will provide meeting summaries and assist with post-event reporting activities.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a public or private sector environment.
At least 24 months of experience supporting defence, security, or a related sector.
Experience supporting meetings, events, or senior-level engagements.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site in a secure environment and follow established processes.
Must already hold a valid Secret security clearance.
