About the Opportunity
This opportunity supports a hospital-based clinical team on a contract basis. You will step into a secretarial role, working alongside healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and clinicians alike.
As the sole administrative support for a busy outpatient clinic, you will play a key role in reception, scheduling, and coordination. This is a people-facing role that blends consistency with meaningful patient interaction, ideal for someone who enjoys structure, independence, and working in a healthcare environment where organization truly matters.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll serve as the first point of contact, greeting patients in person and supporting them through check-in and scheduling processes
- In this role, you’ll manage appointment booking, rescheduling, and calendar coordination for multiple physicians
- You’ll navigate hospital scheduling systems, including virtual appointment setup and basic troubleshooting
- You’ll respond to phone and email inquiries in a professional, patient-focused manner
- You’ll operate independently, managing daily workflows with confidence
Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in an administrative, medical receptionist, or medical secretary role
- Previous experience in a hospital or busy clinical environment is a must
- Proven scheduling experience in a medical, corporate, or service-based environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort handling high patient volumes
- High level of organization, independence, and comfort working on-site full time
