About the Opportunity
This is a fast-paced, front-facing opportunity for an experienced Medical Secretary to support outpatient services within a busy clinical setting. You will be at the heart of daily operations, managing the front desk for multiple clinics while ensuring patients receive a welcoming, organized, and respectful experience from the moment they arrive.
Working alongside a close-knit team, you will help coordinate five outpatient clinics in a high-volume environment where no two days look the same. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, adapts quickly, and brings calm, structure, and professionalism to a space that supports critical community health services within the public healthcare sector.

Your Responsibilities
- You will manage a high-volume front desk, welcoming and checking in patients across five outpatient clinics.
- You will coordinate scheduling, appointments, walk-ins, and new patient intakes with accuracy and empathy.
- You will maintain and update patient records using an electronic medical record system.
- You will support clinic flow by monitoring appointments and liaising with clinical teams.
- You will handle administrative tasks in a tight, busy workspace while remaining calm and organized.
- You will navigate multiple systems and processes with confidence, including clinical tracking tools.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of administrative or medical office experience in a busy clinical or healthcare environment.
- Experience using EMR systems.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure, high-volume settings.
- Post-secondary education.
- Experience within public healthcare environments is considered a strong asset.
