About the Opportunity
This long-term opportunity sits at the centre of a major public sector modernization initiative focused on how technical data supports complex defence systems and equipment. As an SAP Technical Analyst, you’ll help shape the future of technical data management by enabling the transition from legacy practices to a modern, centrally managed digital environment integrated with an enterprise SAP-based ERP platform.
You’ll work closely with business process owners, technical authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to modernize policies, processes, and data structures. Your contributions will directly impact data integrity, system readiness, and organizational effectiveness, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with meaningful, people-focused transformation work.
Your Responsibilities
You’ll review existing technical data management policies and processes, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
In this role, you’ll develop and update policies, procedures, and publications to support a new centrally managed technical data database.
You’ll translate business and functional requirements into technical standards, business rules, and future-state processes.
You’ll support legacy data migration, remediation, and validation to establish a single source of truth within the ERP environment.
You’ll conduct unit and system testing to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical requirements.
You’ll contribute to training materials and change enablement activities that support modernized technical data practices.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience performing ERP/SAP Technical Analyst responsibilities in complex environments.
Proven experience supporting SAP-based ERP solutions, including requirements development, testing, and technical standards.
Demonstrated involvement in business transformation initiatives impacting people, process, and technology.
Experience supporting engineering, maintenance, or technical data management activities using ERP tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
