About the Opportunity

You will support the redevelopment and day-to-day delivery of a monthly permit program within a public-facing organization, helping ensure customers receive timely, accurate, and professional service.
You will work closely with internal teams while acting as a key point of contact for external customers. The role blends data entry and customer service, with a strong focus on written communication, attention to detail, and managing high volumes in a calm and organized way.

Your Responsibilities
- You will process new monthly permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and account updates.
- In this role, you will respond to customer inquiries primarily by email, and phone support, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- You will maintain clean and reliable records through high-volume data entry in an established system.
- You will provide clear, consultative guidance on permit options, policies, rates, and availability.
- You will coordinate with internal teams to support access issues, system updates, and service changes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, office clerk, customer service, or call center environment.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional and empathetic tone.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily volume targets.
- Strong customer service, listening, and de-escalation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Reliable attendance record and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
