About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established organization within the manufacturing sector, is looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to support core people operations across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the day-to-day, balancing operational HR work with meaningful employee interaction.
You will partner closely with frontline leaders and employees, supporting everything from recruitment and onboarding to training, policies, and HR systems. Your work will directly impact the employee experience, compliance, and the overall effectiveness of a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, from job postings through to offers
- In this role, you’ll coordinate onboarding programs that support engagement, safety, and compliance
- You’ll support training initiatives, including tracking certifications and mandatory learning
- You’ll maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates
- You’ll act as a trusted first point of contact for employee HR inquiries
- You’ll manage HRIS administration, ensuring accurate employee data and reporting
- You’ll support performance management, employee relations, and compliance activities
Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, ideally within manufacturing or a related industry
- Hands-on experience with recruitment, onboarding, and core HR operations
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and generating HR reports
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear, professional communication and strong relationship-building skills
