As a Senior Analyst in Insurance and Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping CAE’s global risk strategy. Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Leader - Insurance and Risk Management, the candidate is responsible for gathering and analyses of data relating to CAE’s global insurance programs (aviation, property, liability, and more).

 

  • Insurance Program Management: Lead the collaboration with insurance brokers and insurers to design, negotiate, and renew global insurance programs

  • Risk Analysis and Strategy: Evaluate insurance policies, coverage, and terms to align with CAE’s risk tolerance and objectives

  • Loss Prevention and Risk Mitigation: Drive implementation of risk assessments and site inspections, ensuring compliance with insurer recommendations while supporting continuous improvement of facilities and processes

  • Claims Oversight: Manage the claims lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation. Act as liaison between insurers, adjusters, and internal teams

  • Data and Records Management: Maintain insurance records including binders, policies, and invoices. Respond to internal requests and issue insurance certificates promptly

  • Learning and Development: Stay current with industry trends and participate in professional development opportunities. Access to industry certifications (CRM, CIP) and continuous learning opportunities to advance your career in global risk management

 

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting (cost allocation, invoicing, payables)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Detail-oriented, thorough, and committed to excellence

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong team spirit and customer-focused mindset

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office

  • Bilingual (English and French) written and spoken

  • Knowledge of aviation industry is an asset

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • Professional designation (CRM, CIP) or working toward one

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate insurance, risk management, brokering or a related field, preferably in complex, multinational organizations
