We are seeking an experienced Hardware and System Designer to join our client in the telecommunications sector. In this role you will design and integrate electronic systems and components that bring next generation communication products to life. You will collaborate with system engineers, product teams, and technical specialists to shape solutions used across complex telecom environments.

Your Responsibilities
- You will participate in all phases of product development, from concept to production release.
- You will perform design verification, regulatory testing, and prepare technical documentation and test plans.
- You will evaluate and select components, ensuring interoperability and compliance with system requirements.
- You will contribute to system architecture, assist with prototyping, and analyze detailed system specifications.
- You will define system specifications, qualification tests, and develop designs that meet applicable standards.
- You will integrate and test third party equipment, embedded systems, RTOS, and Windows based communication software.
- You will troubleshoot complex issues and support decisions related to architecture and technology selection.
- You will take ownership of assigned design work, reporting progress and providing technical leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar hardware or systems design role.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience designing electronic circuits and working with IP and network protocols.
- Knowledge of RTOS, embedded systems, and real time communication protocols is an asset.
- Strong interest in client server architectures and telecom control systems.
- General understanding of hardware development and the full product lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English.
- Ability to meet timelines and work within project budgets.
