Job Title: Information Management Coordinator (Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online)
Location: Onsite – Carling Campus (Ottawa, ON)

Term: Full-time contract (approx. 22 weeks)
Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Information Management Coordinator to support the revitalization and stabilization of a Microsoft 365 environment, with a focus on SharePoint Online and collaboration capabilities. You’ll work closely with an internal IM lead to assess the current environment, gather requirements, implement enhancements, and strengthen governance and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Assess SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 configuration, performance, and architecture; document governance, site structures, permissions, and SOPs
Lead stakeholder sessions to capture pain points and translate business needs into functional/technical designs
Configure, develop, and test improved SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and information architecture
Support enhancement of Microsoft 365 features (including Power Platform) to improve business processes
Assist with data cleanup/migration activities to stabilize and modernize the environment
Contribute to an updated IM governance framework, training materials, and user adoption sessions
Provide weekly status updates (brief, up to 30 minutes)
Mandatory Qualifications
Certificate, diploma, or degree in Computer Science or a related field (recognized Canadian post-secondary institution)
5+ years (within the last 8) as a SharePoint Online Site Collection Administrator and/or IM role in a live Microsoft 365 environment (Modern Experience), including:
Information Architecture using Content Types, Site Columns, and Managed Metadata (Term Store)
Complex permissions management (inheritance + Microsoft 365 Groups)
5+ years (within the last 8) integrating SharePoint Online with Microsoft tools, including:
