About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced full-cycle Accountant or Bookkeeper looking for a role where your work truly makes an impact each month? You will be a key contributor to accurate financial reporting that helps leadership make timely decisions.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Controller and senior leadership, owning your portfolio and presenting financial packages that reflect your accuracy, ownership, and professionalism.

Your Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will manage full-cycle AR activities, including rent collection, processing payments, resolving inquiries, and completing reconciliations early each month.
  • You will oversee AP, organizing and processing high volumes of invoices and preparing cheque runs with accuracy.
  • You will handle banking activities, including deposits, e-transfer tracking, and coordinating with multiple financial institutions.
  • You will prepare monthly financial statements for 35–40 properties, completing bank and rent reconciliations and packaging clean, accurate reports.
  • You will present finalized financial packages to the Controller, property owners, and senior leadership.
  • You will maintain organized files and support ad hoc requests in a fast-moving, highly collaborative office environment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in property accounting or full-cycle bookkeeping.
  • Strong experience preparing financial statements and performing high-volume bank reconciliations.
  • Solid Excel skills, including comfort with formulas and organizing data.
  • Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, debits and credits, and balance sheet fundamentals.
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting financial information.
