About the Opportunity
Our client, a leader in the consumer packaged goods sector, is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to support their Biscuits and Bakery portfolio during a critical period of growth and innovation. This is a high-impact role where you will help shape brand strategy, guide category performance, and influence decisions across multiple consumer channels.
You will join a collaborative North American marketing team that values insight-driven decision making, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional partnership. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of beloved consumer brands and ensure strategic alignment across sales, supply chain, finance, and agency partners.

Your Responsibilities
- You will champion brand strategy recommendations to senior management in Canada and North America.
- You will lead category, competitive, brand, and customer analysis to uncover insights and guide opportunity development.
- You will build consumer understanding plans that strengthen brand equity and support future innovation.
- You will recommend actions to improve P&L performance, including pricing strategy and cost optimization.
- You will deliver holistic market insights to support both supply and demand planning.
- You will lead innovation launch forecasting, including volume and pricing analysis.
- You will allocate A and P budgets to drive growth and elevate brand equity.
- You will define product launch strategies and equip Sales teams with compelling stories, insights, and toolkits.
- You will plan the annual Activity Grid and Media Briefing process to support promotional and communication plans.
- You will collaborate with Trade Marketing, Category Management, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Production, Legal, and agency partners to execute new initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6 plus years of progressive brand management experience in CPG, ideally within food categories.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business required, Master’s degree an asset.
- Strong capabilities in brand equity and communication development.
- Skilled in simplifying complex ideas and building clear narratives in PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Solid project management experience from planning through assessment.
- Budget and P&L management experience.
- Well versed in forecasting and understanding of food, drug, mass, club, and e-commerce channels.
- Global or upstream marketing experience is an asset.
