About the Opportunity
Our leading client is seeking a Store Development Planner who is passionate about designing, improving, and shaping the future of retail environments. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and enhancing the store network by creating initial store layouts and ensuring each new or renovated location delivers an exceptional shopping experience.
You will collaborate closely with Real Estate, Construction, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to influence building design, integrate operational needs, and ensure store plans support strategic initiatives across the business. Your expertise will help translate business requirements into efficient, customer-centered retail and service environments.

Your Responsibilities
- You will design initial retail, warehouse, auto service, and garden centre layouts using AutoCAD and Revit for both prototypical and non-prototypical store buildings.
- You will create the initial Auto Service Centre layout using market analysis, operational input, and store performance metrics.
- You will provide architectural recommendations to Real Estate, Construction, and external architects to ensure all building elements align with retail strategy.
- You will prepare and share first-draft plans and decision packages with cross-functional teams for early review and alignment.
- You will finalize store development drawings and hand off complete planning packages to architects and construction teams for Tender Set creation.
- You will conduct thorough reviews of tender and construction drawings to ensure all physical store requirements are included and correctly implemented.
- You will investigate and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and documentation within Store Development.
Skills and Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in store planning, architecture, or a related field
- Exceptional AutoCAD and Revit skills
- Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and provide well-informed recommendations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively in environments with ambiguity and change
