About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected lending institution, is seeking a highly organized Mortgage Administrator to join their downtown Toronto team. This role is essential to supporting smooth mortgage operations and ensuring files move accurately through each stage, from underwriting to renewal to final reporting. You will join a collaborative group that values precision, professionalism and a client-focused approach.
In this role, you will work closely with underwriters, branch leadership and internal partners who rely on your attention to detail and mastery of mortgage administration. Your work will directly contribute to the successful management of residential mortgage files and help maintain a strong reputation for service excellence.

Your Responsibilities
You will prepare mortgage commitments based on Senior Underwriter approval, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
You will manage mortgage files across all stages, including insurance administration, document tracking, reporting and various statement preparations.
You will lead the administration and follow-up of mortgage renewals, ensuring timely coordination with branch leadership.
You will act as the first point of contact for mortgage client inquiries, administering and resolving issues with professionalism.
You will contribute to weekly team meetings and support the ongoing growth of the branch.
Skills and Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage administration or residential mortgage processing.
Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, file lifecycles and regulatory requirements.
Proven organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent communication and client service capabilities.
A positive, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
