About the Opportunity

As an IT Sourcing Specialist, you will lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives for IT services, software, cloud solutions, and technology platforms that support organizational growth and innovation.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will translate business needs into effective commercial outcomes while promoting procurement best practices across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end IT sourcing and contracting activities across SaaS, cloud, hardware, and consulting services.
Develop sourcing strategies and manage RFx processes for medium- to high-complexity initiatives.
Negotiate pricing, terms, SLAs, and commercial conditions to drive value and mitigate risk.
Partner closely with legal, compliance, privacy, and security teams to support contract drafting and execution.
Act as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement within the procurement function.
Provide mentorship and subject matter support to junior team members.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT procurement or sourcing role.
Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent relevant experience.
Working knowledge of IT procurement processes, technologies, and service categories.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented, collaborative, and highly accountable.
SCMP or CSCMP designation is considered an asset.
