Your Responsibilities
- You’ll handle end-to-end IT sourcing and contracting initiatives, including SaaS, cloud, hardware, and consulting services.
- In this role, you’ll help with development of sourcing strategies and manage RFx processes for medium to high-complexity projects.
- You’ll negotiate pricing, terms, SLAs, and commercial conditions with vendors to drive value and mitigate risk.
- You’ll partner with legal, compliance, privacy, and security teams to support contract execution.
- You’ll act as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- You’ll identify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- You’ll provide mentorship and subject matter guidance to junior team members.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in an IT procurement or sourcing role
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent professional experience
- Working knowledge of IT procurement processes, technologies, and services
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player with a high sense of accountability
- SCMP or CSCMP designation is considered an asset
