Beaches Animal Hospital welcomes a dependable and caring Animal Care Attendant to join our team full-time. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in an important support role for the entire hospital.

• Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians with various tasks and treatment of pet patients

• Providing compassionate care duties including feeding and walking patients

• General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas

• Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures Compassion and nurturing attitude

• Patient handling and restraint

• Client care such as reception, payments and supportive communication

Qualifications required

• Exceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clients

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team

• Compassion and nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patients

• Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations

• Positive outlook and enthusiasm

• Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset
