As a Senior QA Analyst within the Smart Automation Team, you will lead quality assurance efforts across automation solutions. You will be responsible for defining testing strategies, managing test execution, and ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. This role demands strong expertise in testing methodologies, automation tools, and patch validation, along with the ability to mentor junior QA team members and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

• Define and manage end-to-end QA strategies for automation and software projects.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to interpret requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Lead test execution across functional, regression, integration, and system testing phases.
• Oversee defect lifecycle management using tools such as Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Perform advanced API testing using Postman and RestAssured, validating RESTful and GraphQL endpoints.
• Conduct backend data validation and ensure data integrity across integrated systems.
• Manage patch testing activities, including regression validation post-patch and coordination with infrastructure teams.
• Support and guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test data preparation and execution oversight.
• Provide risk-based recommendations for release approvals based on test outcomes.
• Promote early testing and defect prevention strategies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in retrospectives and root cause analysis to improve QA processes and reduce defect leakage.
• Maintain QA documentation including test cases, scripts, and knowledge repositories.
• Act as a quality ambassador, ensuring alignment on testing goals across teams.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps initiatives.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on automation and enterprise systems.
• Automation testing experience with tools like selenium, UiPath test Suite will be considered as an asset.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, UiPath, WorkFusion, and Pega OpenSpan will be an Asset.
• Strong knowledge of API testing protocols including REST, GraphQL, Postman, and RestAssured.
• Experience with patch validation and regression testing post-infrastructure updates.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
• Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
o ISTQB Certified Tester
o UiPath Certified RPA Associate
