Job Description
The Account Development Specialist is the image, face, and voice of our organization. You are accountable for building and maintaining quality business relationships with existing and new customers by implementing national, regional, and district-level sales development initiatives and promoting our auto parts products and programs. The ADS helps keep the organization informed on customer behaviour, competitive threats, and market trends, and participates in the development and refinement of sales initiatives at the district level.
This is a regular full-time position.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Calling on installers to sell auto parts products and programs, collaborating with various sales teams at the regional and corporate levels
• Implementing sales development plans and supporting district and regional strategies and objectives, including deployment of marketing programs and promotions
• Working with the District Sales Manager and Store Managers to develop plans for growing business with existing customers within the assigned territory
• Gathering market intelligence and reporting service or product issues to the appropriate managers
• Making pricing recommendations on accounts and assisting in collections to ensure adherence to buying conditions
Qualifications
• At least 2 years of sales experience
• Exceptional customer service skills, consistently exceeding expectations of internal and external customers
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Valid G-Class driver’s license
