Job Title: Autodesk Vault Implementation Specialist
Location: Ottawa, ON (Preferred) – Remote available with secure connection
Duration: 6-month contract to start
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Autodesk Vault Professional Implementation Specialist to lead the on-premise deployment of Autodesk Vault within their environment. This role is ideal for a specialist who brings deep knowledge of Vault best practices, configuration, rollout, and user enablement. As this is an early-stage and exclusive search, the selected resource will play a key role in defining and delivering the implementation roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Autodesk Vault Professional in an on-premise environment.
- Define and apply best practices for Vault architecture, configuration, workflows, security, and data management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business requirements and translate them into a structured implementation plan.
- Perform configuration, testing, system validation, and deployment activities.
- Provide user training, onboarding, and documentation to ensure successful adoption of the platform.
- Offer guidance on governance, optimization, and long-term maintenance to ensure system scalability and performance.
- Work remotely through a secure connection if not based in Ottawa.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience implementing Autodesk Vault Professional (on-prem preferred).
- Strong understanding of Vault best practices, configuration management, CAD data workflows, and integration points.
- Experience delivering training sessions and supporting user adoption.
- Ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
